Community rules

Argue hard about the races. Don't go after people. That's most of it.

Allowed

• Any political opinion, from any side, said as bluntly as you like.
• Criticizing candidates, parties, officials, pollsters and us.
• Swearing, within reason.

Not allowed

• Slurs, or attacking people for their race, religion, sex, sexuality or disability.
• Threats or calls for violence against anyone, including candidates and election workers.
• Harassing or doxxing another user.
• False information about how, when or where to vote.
• Spam, scams, ads and pretending to be someone else.

How moderation works

• Posts are checked for slurs, threats and spam before they go up.
• To keep bots out there are posting limits, and new accounts can post links after their first day.
• Anyone signed in can report a post. Posts with several reports are hidden until a moderator looks at them.
• Moderators remove posts that break these rules and ban accounts that keep doing it. Disagreeing with a post is not a reason to report it, and we don't remove posts for their politics.
